At Broke Mare & Co., we want the sellers and the buyers to be able to come back time and again. We take 25-35% on saddles, bridles, tack and gear is 30-40%, boots and apparel are 40-50% and small items are 50%. The percentages are flexible because each item may need different attention.

Broken or unsafe gear, helmets, dirty or moldy items, custom pads or monogrammed gear, medical supplies (bute, banamine etc), or non horsey items. We do reserve the right to refuse to take an item.

We have 90 days to sell your item. At the end of that you have two options. 1) Pick up 2) We can reach out to you and ask if you'd like to discount the price or extend the consignment period by 30 days. If the item is not picked up, it will then be donated to a rescue, marked down for clearance or used in our farm for the lesson kiddos.
